Off the chain. This RSV is elegant in every way with nice floral hints on the nose and velvety texture on the palate. Nice medium to longish finish. A real treat from a friend that is a self described “Burgundy-snob.” Maybe a very generous Burgundy snob. His mother taught him to share. — 3 months ago
When you see DRC on the label it’s difficult not to have preconceptions. The nose pops with red cherries ,stems and spice. The palate is hit with weighty red and black fruit which carries a healthy dose of acid. Surprisingly lacked the complexity and finish I was hoping for from a vintage like this let alone the producer. — 4 months ago
A bit past its prime but otherwise still smooth, earthy, and delicious. — 5 months ago
Made from Macabeu, Xarel·lo and Parellada grapes, bright pale gold color with a frothy creamy mousse, small rapid bubble flow with a steady stream. Aromas and flavors of apple and citrus with toasty notes, integrated, nice mouthfeel, elegant long finish. Great value as an exceptional alternative to French Champagne. — 6 months ago

Delicate with great pepper notes — 9 years ago
Nose: fig and Asphalt and earth
Taste: candid walnut up front? plum and berry, very fruit forward in the middle. Finishes spicy! Love the prickling sensation as the berry fades.

See my photo on iPhone. Had with Marc’s folks in Leiden. So unique notes with Tempranillo although to me a bit too fruity on the front. But all loved, including W&S, and I agree pleasant finish with minimal tannins. — 2 months ago
Incredible brunello. Epitome of a young brunello. Violet ruby color with dark cherries and plums with touches of spice, aromas of forest floor and Great integrated tannins. Complex and it evolves beautifully in the glass. Definitely a drink now wine or ageworthy. The essence of sangiovese. Definitely one to try again and again. — 3 months ago
So smooth. Dark fruit. Bold, low tannins. Delicious. — 4 months ago
Dark ruby coloration. On the nose, dark cherry , ripe plum, vanilla, forest floor, oak, leather, truffle, spice, chocolate. On the palate, full bodied and elegant. Complex with an Extensive finish. Cherry, dark berry, vanilla, balsamic, spice, oak, gravel/minerals/forest floor then chocolate takes over. Long finish. — 5 months ago

Called Rioja. Super-dill coconut give-away. — 2 months ago
Sight: Completely opaque, blood red, slight tawny. On nose: fruit forward, tobacco. On mouth: very smooth, full bodied, was difficult to taste fruits but strong oak and earthy presence. Might not have been at correct temperature. — 2 months ago
Primarily Tempranillo with some Graciano and Mazuelo blended in. Deep ruby color with a garnet rim. Intense black fruit aromas, leather and baking spices. Flavors of blackberry, black plum, baker’s chocolate, cinnamon and tobacco. Nice cedar, dill and vanilla notes on the long and lasting finish. Smooth and very well rounded tannins. Great balance of oak, acidity and alcohol. Full bodied. Fresh, well structured and complex. — 3 months ago
Holy fuck what is this bloody beautiful substance? Why’s it so smooth? — 4 months ago

Deep dark ruby red.
Perfumed nose with black currants, violets, olives and cocoa.

A long, beautiful finish. — 3 years ago
At first we thought it was corked. After about an hour it started kicking off and probably with more time would even excel. Black and red cherry notes with earthy - leathery spices. Light, soft and balanced tannins. High rate for its age. — 8 years ago
Reasonably priced in Pennsylvania. Good drinkable wine if you like fuller bodied reds. Will be getting a couple more bottles. — 10 years ago

A big Rioja. Surprisingly ready to drink, tanins have softened, still powerful. Dark garnet color, aromatic nose of earth and herbs. Round Palate balanced and tasty. Recommended. Great VfM. — 2 months ago
