Drink now, secondary phase is winding down. Very interesting find in an unused cellar — 11 years ago

Was wondering when you'd be into the Riesling

Drei Donà (Tenuta la Palazza)

Graf Noir Gran Riserva Forlì IGT 2003

A blend of 55% Sangiovese, 30% Uva Longanesi, and 15% Cabernet Franc aged 28 months in French oak barriques and for another 36 months on bottle before release. Unfiltered. Very limited production, about 1,200 bottles. This Gran Riserva have a charming nose with black plum, chocolate, licorice, sweet tobacco, juniper berries flavors. In mouth this wine is expansive, medium- to full-bodied, good tannins, a fine supporting acidity and a long finish. — 12 years ago

Lorcher Bodenstal-Steinberg Spätlese Riesling 1971

1971 is my sweetheart #vintage because I broke into the #German #Riesling world with this astounding year--the von Kanitz estate was still in its heyday then. — 11 years ago

Graf von Meran Lagrein

Juicy with some graphite hints both on palate and nose. Fresh and very long. I can drink this all day long. Beautiful. No clue what the grape(s) are. Sciava maybe? Some Pinot noir? — 12 years ago

Le plus drôle, c'est que la forme de la bouteille est réglementée dans l'appellation... Le producteur n'a donc pas le choix! :)
