last bottle, still enough stuffing going on!
Mint and eucalyptus, some chocolate and still jammy fruit. Second day it was over the hill. — 5 years ago

Is this number five? I’ve lost track already. “Gold Jerry, Gold.” Can taste a touch of the age on this bottle. #freundfest2018 — 6 years ago

Pure liquid gold. More akin to a top dry sherry than any wine I have ever tasted. On my second day and the flavours just keep multiplying. Incredible stuff! Wish I had more. — 8 years ago
Boyz Raveneau tasting. From a very well kept bottle with a high fill. Light to med gold/straw color. More closed than the others. Rich and viscous in the mouth. Some heat in terms of the presence of alcohol. With air this really opened up. After 3 hours this was singing. — 9 years ago

Nice regal gold hue. Amazing pit fruit and wet stone nose. Plus notes of apricot, white clay soil, salty ocean breeze and some Raveneau honey on the finish. Rich and powerful in the mouth. Coats the palate with lots of fruit and fine grained acidity. I’ve had this a few times and this was at its best. Great Raveneau at age 30 is an amazing treat. — 4 years ago
This is 16 despite the label. Awesome nose. Big cherry fruit, some sweet oak, mint, soil tones, and just an amalgam of intense fruit. Really elegant and juicy with lithe silky tannins and such purity. Terrific structure and top notch finesse. Amazing purity and elegance. Long finish and very chewy. I think needs 3-4 years and/or a 3 hour decant. Terrific focus and freshness. Stunning balance. Awesome. Lovely stuff. — 5 years ago

Fresh, light gold. Bright and vibrant in the glass. Even more vibrant in the nose. Exotic, notes of lemon peel, wet river stone, petrol, slate, apricot and spice. Great rich fruit matches some impactful acidity. Long finish. This is great juice, still young, and has some more to give down the road. — 6 years ago
Opened an old one for Mother's Day. It decanted for an hour and it was amazing! — 8 years ago

We love Chateauneuf du pape and this is an amazing pretender and awesome value. Paid $20 at Binnys. Love it! Going to look for it every time we go there — 9 years ago
Ripe raspberry aromas layered with notes of red cherry and silky finish. Smooth! — 12 years ago

2017 vintage — 6 years ago
Dark fruit and leather on the nose. Medium to full body with dark berry and plum notes. Grippy tannins. — 6 years ago
Consumed 12/2017. Full rich flavors of berry, Cassis and black cherry with hints of vanilla in the background. Aging with French oak adds complexity and depth, resulting in a high-quality Cabernet with great value. For me, this wine has to breath for a couple of hours before I like it. — 6 years ago
From a great looking bottle with high fill and perfect cork. Yellow gold and heavy weight in the glass. Bright tropical nose with notes of citrus fruit, river stone, petrol, clove and orange peel. Nice and round in the mouth but still with great acidity. Coats the taste buds. This was better in the first two hours than when compared to the last 4 hours. Paired well with cold heirloom tomato gazpacho soup. — 8 years ago
Earthy and lots of black fruit on the nose. Full bodied. Great pairing for the main course at Zahav. — 8 years ago
Capa y densidad media alta , en nariz fruta roja, aceite de oliva y tostado suave. En boca entrada golosa, personalidad fruta, fruta ... Buen final. — 8 years ago
From the Tour dArgent wine list. FnA. This is amazing Chablis. Light to med gold. Closed at first. Just wait... There it is. Kermidgean white soil and white rock stone. Shell bits. Over 3 hrs this built into that honeyed mineral stone pit fruit thing that is aged Raveneau. It's what got me interested in Chablis. It's why that disease continues. — 9 years ago

Tasted blind. Medium gold. Notes of lemon, dirty white stones, marzipan, some honey. Floral. In the mouth it shows its intensity with great fruit to match. Fine grained acidity. Memorable finish. Memorable wine. — 4 years ago
