My go-to, cheap-but-not-too-cheap Cab. Therefore one of my favorites! Just enough body, just the right spice – I doubt anyone would dislike it so long as they like a full-bodied red wine and are a good person. — 9 years ago
I remember 1st time reading the wine note , I 'm confused by all these words such as linden flower ,gooseberry,genet,locust.... Growing up in Asia,I am not familiar with so many fruits or woods I 've never seen in supermarket, I thought a wine note should be able to reduce the complexity of the tasting of wine , not the other way around. I could not find a way to resolve this till I meet this wine. When I taste cask23 , after a sip of of FAY, another sip of S.L.V and sips of some white, I felt like finally I meet the goddess. If FAY is a fair lady, SLV is a leaping stag or elf, Cask 23 is the godness. I could not find a other word to describe this wine characteristics overall , not by naming it after fruits, the complexity, elegancy, as well as amazing glimpse, everything makes her a prefect lady. A real goddess beats Old world wine in 1976 XD💪💃💃🎈👍😄 — 10 years ago
My all time favorite Anchor beer, and the one they have been since April 18, 1975, it is why I am reviewing this beer now, Fourth of July coming up, it was really to celebrate the 200th Anniversary of Paul Revere's historical ride, and it is also my birthday, April 18th, but back to the brewery and this beer, if you did not know, Anchor Brewery is the very first craft breweries in the USA, when they brewed this beer it was the very first American IPA's some today call it a American Pale Ale, it is brewed with cascade whole cone hops, with a rich malt backbone, by today's standards it seems quite mild, not over hoppy, nor bitter, super well balanced, I love this beer and one of my personal favorites, been drinking this since 1978, It is a true classic that had held up so well, excellent beer all around, pairs with just about any food, and just great tasting, I am a little basis on this, so I give it the highest grade, just because it really was the very first IPA in America and for me, and the price is dirt cheap for such a well made beer from a Outstanding Pioneer brewery — 10 years ago
2009. Cloudy dull gold colour. Nose of tart apple, grass compost? Golden apple goddess emerges slowly. Yeast.
On the palate, really apple-like. Crisp acidity, medium body not flavourful really but a lot of texture in the mouth.

The enigmatic New Yorker - roasted coconut, caramel and tropical fruit. Chardonnay grown on Long Island and vinified in the winery looking out over the Statue of Liberty. Start spreading the news ... — 11 years ago
Inexpensive wine, but one of my favorites. I am new to the wine world, but the moscato blend for me is the best. — 11 years ago
Right up there as one of the best. Very similar to Liberty School — 11 years ago
the goddess of Sicilian wine. They still had some 09s at Osteria Rosso DiVino in Taormina. — 12 years ago
Ruby red color with exuberant red fruit, exotic spice, rose hips and cola aromas. On the palate it's very fresh and well balanced with velvety well integrated tannins with cherry cola, raspberry, spice flavors with a very appealing minerality, and a long finish. Opened up very nicely over the course of a exceptional meal at Spruce SF. Perfect paired with Liberty duck! 2010 Vintage #enofylzwineblog — 9 years ago
Wow amazing wine, the folks at total wine were right--If you love liberty school you will love this. That is 100% true. Very similar but this wine has a hint of tanins which I don't like but less notable after some breathing. It is not liberty school but 2nd best cab I've ever had from cali!! — 10 years ago
Lime pulp, gardenias, wheatgrass, white gummy bears. Great acidity, slight effervescence, oily texture, crisp dry mineral citrus finish. Soft, fairly neutral wine. Pairs wonderfully with green goddess salads, light pastas, and mussels. Organic Blend of 60% Loin de L'Oeil 20% Muscadelle 20% Sauvignon Blanc. — 10 years ago
Tried on 4th of July with Gary, Jon, & Kate @ Gary's house. Would buy again. Like equally to Liberty. — 10 years ago

Exceptionally wonderful to drink. Went perfect with the dry aged Liberty farms duck breast at Solage in Calistoga. A very fruity smelling drink that blends the best of coastal Pinot grapes. I would want a faucet installed in my house with this stuff coming out of it when I'm thirsty. — 9 years ago
100% Orange Blossom Honey makes this the Queen of Meads in my opinion. Just sweet enough to leave you begging for just one more kiss from this ancient goddess of honey and love. — 10 years ago
This is very good, I certainly recommend for those that like the right amount of sweetness. Not too sweet at all, just right! — 10 years ago
Josep Mitjans continues to be a top winemaker in Penedes and Ops is a great reflection of his love for Carignan and Garnatxa. Ops follows biodynamic traditions and is named after the Roman goddess of the harvest. Fruity and potent with smooth tannins. — 10 years ago
