One of the most beautiful Pinot Nero's coming out of Italy. We all need more Oltrepó Pavese wines in our lives! — 9 years ago
I know its not profound to say "delicious, fresh-pressed apple juice" but that's exactly what this tastes like. — 10 years ago
Rose and herb aroma, light rose color, cherry flavors, some earthiness, hints of spice, nice acidity, firm tannins. Nice dry finish with fruity and smokey notes. Still very young and could age for bit. Soft, but complex. We decanted and I chilled mine just a bit. Luckily, we have 2 decanters as my husband does not like chilled wine. Paired very well with a bolognese sauce with fresh basil and parmesan. — 11 years ago

Magnificent super Tuscan. In the same class as Tignanello. Beautiful, ready to drink. Decant it if you can but it's fine to pop and pour, swirl and go! — 7 years ago
Had with make-your-own pizza. Enough depth to carry our meal, not too heavy. — 8 years ago

Unfiltered volcanic Rosé from Nerello Mascalese (95%) and Zibibbo (5%) from organically-farmed vineyards in Pantelleria. Aged for 6 months in stainless steel and chestnut barrels. — 6 years ago
Port-esque. Garnet color, rich rounded nose of dried stone fruit. Very low “mouth drying” tannic quality. — 7 years ago
Dark and brooding dolcetto. Excellent pairing for bit heftier pizza or pasta. This reminds me that I'd need to drink more Dolcetto — 8 years ago
The perfect wine for celebrating after we married. — 8 years ago

2005 vintage. Amazing wine. Well balanced, long finish. Long, complex layers. Wine of the night. — 9 years ago
Rich, dense, Sunday dinner kind of Le Marche red. Plummy, spicy, wild herbs. — 10 years ago
Bill and Sandi brought this to share with us before they started their sailing cruise to the Bahamas. Great wine but probably not the best value for the cost. — 11 years ago
Great value for the price. One of my fav's overall and it's literally like $10. — 11 years ago
