A dry minerality overlays the juicy peaches and ginger on the nose. In the mouth it’s light and crisp, yet soft and fluffy when swished into foam. There’s intense green apple all over the palate, with a tiny squeeze of lemon and lime. It’s just so refreshing and delicious that it’s ridiculous. — 9 years ago
Pale yellow color, floral faint honeysuckle nose and a slightly sweet but still crisp taste with a hint of ginger. Paired well with a Peruvian lunch. April actually liked it! — 10 years ago
I like ginger. I like Hitachino Nest. Together they are awesomer. That's all I have to say about that. 😆 — 10 years ago

Fun "champagne" to drink. Wonderful ginger peach flavor was my favorite of the flavors offered. — 12 years ago
Three cheers for ginger. Ginger! Ginger! Ginger! — 8 years ago
Lively. Lemon custard & fresh orange blossom on the nose. Ginger snaps, toffee, melon, green apple & some nice energy on the palate. — 10 years ago
Pineapple, baked banana, golden raisin, cognac, ginger and lemon grass. Unique. — 10 years ago
My love for Krug knows no bounds. Bready, yeasty notes jump out of the glass towards you but quickly soften into those of honey butter. Ginger and spice notes. Lees driven but well integrated with medium high acid. This champagne is so complex that it's almost impossible to truly detect where one note of flavor ends and the other begins. — 11 years ago
Complex and tons of depth. Honey, bruised pear, ginger root, walnuts. Great acidity to balance it out. Such a great food wine — 11 years ago
Rich golden hue; yeast, candied ginger, baked orchard fruits on the nose; toasty and caramelized flavors on the palate. Delicious. — 11 years ago
We had to wait a bit to burn off some ethyl acetate(nail polish remover) but it did in fact leave which was a relief.
Nose: stewed almost carmelized pear with vanilla and cinnamon and a touch of gingerbready ginger.
Pallatte: thick, sweet, intense. A flood of rich caramel pear and apple pie with... Wait is that cocoa on the finish? Enchanting! — 8 years ago
Bought today at a Carmel wine shop for a day at the beach with some cheese and bread. Great fill, and perfect looking bottle. Youthful color and appearance. Light gold. Vibrant. Nose has notes of citrus, ginger and river stone. Great mouth feel. Chewy. Needs air time. This has years ahead of it. — 9 years ago
No bubbles left, some seepage on the cork, but funnily enough it was still quite special, confit ginger, mandarin marmalade mixed with vanilla beans, custard, creme brûlée, just the caramel on the finish showed it wasn't stored correctly, all things considered quite extraordinary. — 9 years ago
Grapefruit and ginger. Fun and delicious. Don't judge this bottle by it's label. — 10 years ago
Favorite rum, perfect in a dark and stormy (ice, rum, ginger beer and dash of lime if you like) — 11 years ago

This did not age well for me. A 2016 opened in 2019. Insanely sour. Definitely ginger but it became a little much on both fronts for me. I’d be interested to try again at the brewery if when they have vintage pours. — 7 years ago
