2010 vintage. Echezeaux. Medium ruby hue. Touch heady on initially opening. Tightly sprung. Hints of tan leather, mulberry and blackberry bush. Cinnamon and old wood and green decaying leaf. Some complexity starting to show. On the palate, dry, medium plus acidity, plush ripe tannins, medium body, silky mid palate, medium plus alcohol, medium plus concentration of flavour. There's some good length on the finish. Certainly decent. Not a blockbuster and lacks some complexity at this stage of youth. Drink now until 2026. — 9 years ago
