Purchased this wine during visit to Piemonte in 2014. Dark ruby color in the glass. Bright strawberry, cherry and red currant fruit, with leather, graphite and iron on the finish. Well balanced with nice acidity. — 6 years ago
Open, fragrant but still with tons of tannin and acidity. Delicious, good now but also looking forward to the coming years. — 9 years ago

Thanks @Gigi Axline! Tell Dave thanks too! — 10 years ago
This is what natural wine is supposed to taste like. Insanely young, almost has a barrel-sample level of fruit. On the nose, lilacs, blackberries. In the mouth, bright fresh jasmine and lilac, blackberry juice, acid. Medium tannins, medium-long finish. Excellent, pure example of Syrah and shows what California Syrah can be - ie St Joseph/hermitage with a twist. — 5 years ago

Opaque in color, super cloudy. Unbelievably light, ripe and refreshing yet the most funky wine I️ have ever tasted. Lots to think about with this wine. — 9 years ago
Not too sweet. Nice acidity — 9 years ago

Really solid Barolo. Drinks well with little decanting. — 11 years ago
Almost nonexistent on the nose and looks like coffee. Had a hint of Cognac on first sip but softened as it opened up. Loads of width and ultra dry with subtle complexity. — 6 years ago
We really enjoyed this. Friends sitting around having a good conversation and an excellent wine — 8 years ago
