Great price and lovely Pinot. May I say the Germans make a pretty fine Pinot — 10 years ago
Those crafty Germans get around... Was once part of Austria...mmmm — 10 years ago
2009 vintage. Pronounced nose of stone fruits - ripe apricot and peach - cream, wet rock minerality. TDN petrol and diesel notes that are well balanced with the fruit. On the palate, high acidity makes this wine super fresh, concentrated flavours of ripe peach, stone fruits and lime. The finish is sublime - it is lingering and begs another sip. This wine can age for a few years yet. A stunning effort from Egon Muller who makes us realise that dry Aussie Riesling is a style that is consistently superior to anything the Germans, Austrians or Alsatians can produce. When you realise the price, it is also incredible value. — 10 years ago

Amazing Brew, Excellent example of a truly great west coast IPA, this is the reason beer lovers from other countries are seeking out these fine brews, Germany was always the true brew masters, but even Germans are giving high praises to brew like this one, talk to people in the UK and they are blown away my this brew and others from Firestone and Stone, Balast Point, really great to see this happening here in the Great USA, Proud to call this brew as OURS! — 11 years ago
$57.99/46.39 good with food. More mild, not too tart or acidic. Tatting we saved Paris by pleading with the Germans not to blow up the historical landmark. Domaine Carneros in California is a Tattinger estate. — 11 years ago
Just as we were finishing the last precious pale gold drops of #Roulot 2010, out stepped Mr. #Keller and the dance floor suddenly got real crowded. Strident, shimmering, opulent...what the Germans call, "strahlend"...layers upon layers of ripe, complex fruit that lingered in the finish.
No wonder this is one of the world's most sought-after white wines...it is truly incomparable! #Riesling #2012 #Rheinhessen #GMax

Coal, red fruits, nice acidity. Great Pinot from the Germans! — 10 years ago
Steely and bone dry. Minerals for days. Stony like brook. Shows the stinginess capable in Germans. Plus the nine dollar price is unbeatable. — 10 years ago
I am also holding on to this baby. 2004 late harvest white riesling, not just any old riesling of theirs. Sweet memories of our friends' trip to Mendocino and stopping to fall in love with Navarro on the way. More on the white peach, nectarine, elderflower, lichee side than the petrol oily side of riesling, but good against the Germans any day. — 11 years ago
$17.99/14.39. They hung both flags (German and French) during the Olympics. 2 sons had to enlist in the German army- one at northern Italy front and one at Russian front. From Alsace. Resistance fighter family, could help by knowing where the next fight would be when the Germans ordered a shipment to the next front. — 11 years ago
Really enjoyed this one. Peachy with maybe elderflower...grass? Meeting two Germans this week certainly inspires the pick. Would definitely get this again. — 12 years ago
This was one of the best Germans I've had in a while- purity of fruit, perfect acidity- wonderful. — 10 years ago
Germans like Italian wine too! — 10 years ago
The bigger, riper vintages of the past decade are evolving beautifully such as this delicious '07 #Rheingau #Kabinett. Yes, it was definitely acting more like a #Spätlese, but given its perfect balance no one was complaining...the bottle was empty before we knew it...that is what Germans call: TRINKFLUSS! #Auction #Goldkapsel

Jesus H Christ, those Germans can make some stunning Pinot. Flinty, ashy, rose water, currants. — 10 years ago
Economical yet very drinkable. As the Germans say "pricewurt". — 11 years ago
Bottle recorked in 2008 and topped off with more 1928. This wine was taken by Erwan Faiveley's grandfather to his summer home when the Germans were occupying France during WW2. It was sealed in a crypt for three years while the Germans actually occupied the house. — 11 years ago
has really held up over the course of 3 days. impressed. the finish doesn't linger as long as the germans, but this might be my favorite domestic riesling. — 12 years ago

Flirting with austerity, this is Hawaiian Punch made by very serious Germans. Cherries and muted floral notes - a food-friendly chameleon. — 9 years ago
