It's perfect Sauvignon Blanc from NZ. — 8 years ago
Cherry liqueur, strawberries, rose, plum, sage, thyme, iron, sun dried tomatoes, cinnamon, white pepper. Snapping acidity, minimal smooth velvet tannins, juicy texture, medium bodied, complex fruity-floral-smoky finish. Opened up beautifully with each glass pour. Aromatic with strong mineral character. — 8 years ago
Good nose. Slightly drier than the usual Australian Shiraz but very palatable. Fruity but not especially spicy. — 9 years ago

Thank you @melissa_ful for such a beautiful surprise! — 11 years ago
Aromas of anise, leather and cedar. Loads of black fruit and firm tannins. Glad I have 4 more bottles of this. — 11 years ago
Never in my life have I encountered a beverage like this. This is truly like liquid stone and stone fruit skin in the absolute craziest way. I don’t really know what to do with it but I will be back for more if for none other than shear interest. Not a quaffing wine and by no means is this fun, this is the most serious wine I have ever encountered. Not sloppy and not flawed. Georgian shamanism at its most psychedelic. — 7 years ago

Oh heck. I wish I had more. I don't know Aussie wine but don't think that would make a big diff in how to interpret this oner. It is an individual and a nice one at that.
It is smooth and merlot Berry then POW there are your Gewurtztraminer spices and whoa. Despite my hatred of the color of yellow I can dig it. Yowza. — 9 years ago
Plum, black cherries, pencil shavings, thyme, dry tobacco leaf, graphite, sun dried tomato, slight truffle. Medium acid/dusty tannin balance, full bodied, long dry herbal/wood chips finish. Needed 15 minutes to open up. — 10 years ago
The 2011 is not ready so there on the 2012 in June. Gorgeous deep fruit, 10 was a hot year. Deep sweet cherry. Post ferment max station gives more savoury notes. Hint of green, herbaceous note. Minerally, earthy. Wowzers. Textured, complete, powerful. earthy, smoky, probably the best PN in Marlborough. Meaty, animal length. Wow! — 10 years ago
