2019 vintage. Not decanted. Tasted after being open one hour. Light body. Decent frontal concentration that glided and dimmed appropriately to the finish. Nice sustenance throughout without being overbearing in any particular facet. Last tasted 9.24.23 and it was a trip and a bit unbalanced (8.9). This was worlds better. 3.15.24. — 2 years ago

Pop and pour. Notes from 4 hrs open. On the nose: freshly cut honeysuckle, then loads of flowers, mint, soft honey and wet stone. On the palate: excellent acidity, wet stone, ginger, medicinal herbs, fantastic density. Better than my last btl...definitely one of my condrieu standards. Yum! — 5 years ago

Clear, pale ruby in color; on the nose, it's clean with medium intensity primary aromas of bananas, tart cherries, and violets; on the palate, it's dry with high acidity, low tannins, medium alcohol, light body, and pronounced primary flavors of pomegranates, strawberry jolly ranchers, and clay pots with a medium finish. Absolute treat to have a 1977 next to a 2009. 77 was smooth with little fruit but paired beautifully with the filet. '09 was still fruit forward and jammed some tannins -- could sit another 5-10 years. — 7 years ago
