This has a briny yellow apple aroma. The palate doesn't match the aromas for me. Quince and pear flavors carry along an pleasant rocky tone. The wine hits way above its weight at about $15-17! Terrific with crab cakes and chicken Provençal. — 7 years ago

Rich, amber-golden, ooey-gooey goodness from the masters of Ribeauvillé! An absolute assault of honey and lychees on the nose but what balance on the palate! This wine is a real treat! Marcel Deiss a magician - always an experience to discover how the Alsace wine will show itself, as the winegrower mixes the grapes. This wine had a lovely golden colour and a refreshing smell with a dominant apricot smell, just an impression of honey. Excellent balance. Off-dry. Interesting. — 8 years ago
