Torres family has been related to wine since 17th century when their ancestors first planted vines in the Penedès, a winegrowing region dating to the days of the Phoenicians. Deep Ruby with aromas of jammy fruit, pepper and toasty cedar. On the palate this blend of Cariñena, Garnacha and Syrah shows black currant, jammy blackberry and pepper, vivid acidity with fine grainy tannins, long finish ending with fruit, spice, oak and earthy character. Dry with balanced fruit and mouth feel — a year ago
A quality budget friendly wine that showed some nice age, I've had more recent vintages and this one still held up well and showed some nice maturity — a year ago
Decanted for 1 hour and it tight and complex. Mellowed out after we paired with our meal. — a year ago
Rich, enjoyable, would buy again — 5 years ago
This dependable rosé is a rich, pink salmon color, with a mineral-laden nose featuring lemon, strawberry, and cherry aromas. The palate is dry, fruity and laced with minerals. A good level of acidity provides for excellent food pairing and a refreshing demeanor on its own. There’s a touch of orange peel on the finish.
The wine is a great chilled sipper, but also pairs well with spring salads, summer grilling, or paella, if you're up to it.

A great modern blend, deep colour, rich palate, still strong tannins, wonderful finish. — 6 years ago
Blend of mostly Tempranillo with about equal amounts of Garnacho, Graciano and Manzuelo, deep Ruby with a graceful bouquet of berry fruits, cigar box spice with fresh earthy tones, a traditional Rioja, still reticent. On the silky smooth palate, elegant with layers of flavors of ripe blackberry and cherry, tobacco, smoky cedar, dark fruit, vanilla spice, very well balanced with fine soft tannins and a clean structure ending with a nice long chalky earthy character. Delicious! — 9 months ago
Deep rich color. Thick long lasting legs. Bouquet had oak notes with deep ripe fruit. Light smooth flavors, with fruit notes. Little to no tannins. Very nice wine. — a year ago

Picked up 8 cases. At 5.85 CAD a great bargain for a nice rose. A lovely Grenache for the Summer, but full flavoured enough to enjoy year round. A great second bottle after a nice Chardonnay with Thanksgiving turkey. — 5 years ago

We loved it. Light red fruits, medium body, light tannins. Bright but not too light. — 8 months ago
