Game Set Match is a South Australian blend. It went well with our Beef Short Rib Bourguignonne. #foodandwineclub — 10 years ago
Merlot, Cabernet franc. Red, dry, earthy, full-bodied, rich. Match with game, game birds and eustic cheeses. Ideal with roasted duck breast, venison with a blackberry reduction. — 12 years ago
didn't know I had this wine--was rummaging through the cellar looking for a match for game hens. This is a super wine at peak but one that will last--gorgeous creamy lemon, nuts, stone fruit that carries its acidity beautifully, great balance and length. Depth is considerable, almost oily. Finish is endless. Very classy wine in the Boillot mold--what a great vigneron. — 10 years ago
The '08 Clos Mogador Garnacha Blend from Priorat was a nice match with a charred rare ribeye. Aromas of blackberry, game and wood smoke lead to a most pleasant midpalate. A beautifully balanced wine that hits on all cylinders. Noticeable tannins, layered fruit, and a lingering finish make for a most impressive wine. — 12 years ago

Game changer. Set aside everything you've pretty much ever thought about Zinfandel. Pairs especially well with remote mountain cabins, scrabble, and your special someone. — 10 years ago
