From last week (purchased at the winery in Mendoza in 2011). Really interesting flavor profile, with soft, integrated tannins. Definitely on the downslope, but still really good (and went great with the Snake River Farms Waygu Flat Iron steak I grilled for dinner!). — 5 years ago

Delicious, all brioche and delight. Perhaps a touch sweet for my taste, but then I like ‘em beyond bone dry. Will be getting more and stashing it away. — 8 years ago
Elegant wine Achaval Ferrer use to offer only high priced wine when I visited the winery in Mendoza in 2011. Now they do also more affordable wines in the 29 dollar range, Cab and Malbec. Worth a detour — 9 years ago
Overripe black Cherry, raisins, fresh cut Violet's, and that always present wet dirt component I have decided to call "Mendoza Mud." Nicely oaked but not overpowering. — 9 years ago
Been on the look out for this Pinot ever since I tried it at thanksgiving last year. Beautiful, rich fruit notes with a really nice smokey flavor. Not sure the validity of this story but the person who brought the wine to dinner lives near this vineyard and told us the year this grape was harvested there was a fire in a nearby vineyard that you can still taste in the fruit. Delightful. One of my faves. — 10 years ago
Ripe dark fruit core punctuated by herbal spices, dark chocolate and iron minerals. Feel a bit angular on the palate, but it was delicious and well balanced. Firm tannins.
I don’t think we gave it enough time to open up. This will cruise for another 5, 6 years. — 5 years ago
Wild violet, roses and black fruit aromas. Medium to high acidity, that makes this wine very interesting 7 years after the vintage. Wonderful persistance, with a wild strawberry and cassis aftertaste. At a very good moment to drink. I truely believe that the best south american wines should be consumed between 5 and 7 years after the "cosecha". — 5 years ago
Love this. Everything I look for in a Malbec — 6 years ago
I never knew a bubbly love like this. It’s beautiful (pink color), fresh and fruity. Pinot noir, grapes blended to perfection with a touch of Chardonnay. Dry like I prefer my rosé. Festive! How fitting that I enjoyed it with a new bubbly friend. Shout out to @bubbles_n_bourbon on IG. #badandboozypod #winehoes — 8 years ago
I think this is our ultimate GF bubbly! — 9 years ago
A Syrah from Mendoza...I had my doubts, but we were tasting some great wines at this winery, Malbec and Cab Franc. It is amazing what some of the wineries in Mendoza are doing with Cab Franc. Back to the Syrah, we didn’t taste it but they urged me to get it as they thought I be surprised. And I was! Given the heat and the stress in Mendoza I thought it be drinking more like a Shiraz. It didn’t. It was vibrant, full bodied, spicy and potent tannins that evolved in your mouth giving it great complexity. Dark unripe blackberry infused with pipe tobacco. — 5 years ago
Molt bon Priorat, entrada potent, amb cos i llarg regust. Agradable en nas. Els tanins controlats. 60€ at Vinacoteca. — 6 years ago
Nice tasty mid-priced garnacha — 7 years ago
I am very surpirised with this wine. Modern taste, french oak, blackberry, blueberry notes , strong but nice tannins — 8 years ago
Pear and nutmeg. I don't drink Chardonnay at all, and I liked this. — 9 years ago
Från samma vingård som Veritas. Guiden beskrev den som "Summer in your mouth", men var inte med i provningen. Kan bara hålla med henne, superfräsch! — 9 years ago

Pale gold. Delicate, sweet smell, honey and pear. Pear and citrus taste...and maybe honeysuckle. Very light and crisp. I tried this at Gloria Ferrer a few years ago and it's still just a lovely as it was then. — 4 years ago
