So, we opened the '85, so might as we'll open the '07 to compare! Obviously a different galaxy. Oak is still present in both nose and palate. Also an earthy, herbal note to the nose. Grippy tannins on the palate, with unctuous black fruit and dark chocolate. Certainly a good choice for red meat, a bit drying on its own, but it has so much going on that its still great on its own. — 9 years ago

Single hop series, this time with Galaxy bred by those fun-loving Aussies in 1994. I get dank hashish, lemonade, tropical fruit, and freshly mowed lawn. Lightish body and a dry finish, though alcohol contributes a lengthy subtle sweetness. Excellent balance and a pleasure to drink. Galaxy and Nelson are my favorite hops right now; and Noble does them justice; would be educational to taste them side by side. — 11 years ago
