Montrachet is still the best white on the planet, but is it worth the price difference from some really good Burgundy or Bordeaux options? This is great juice and not too pricey for a true Montrachet. — 7 years ago

First of 2. Love 05 in Pommard. This was a CSW DI and is as delicious as I remember. Finally a bit more open giving dense Pommard fruit and the structure of the 05 vintage. Dense, juicy and mineral. Can't wait till it opens up. — 12 years ago

Picked this 2016 up while in Burgundy a couple years ago. Full bodied with a silky texture but medium alcohol, and Intense honey and chamomile tea on the nose and palate. Backed up by good acidity. Long finish. — 7 years ago
Quite impressive CDP, a bit young, but gave up pretty quickly. Nice treat in the middle of Beijing. — 9 years ago
Butter caramel, toasted hazelnuts, cavey, pineapple. Soft & supple, med - acid. First Ladoix Blanc I've had. Super approachable but immensely complex at the same time. — 10 years ago
Very nice! Very well balanced. Light, refreshing, crisp. Subtle citrus. A nice go-with-almost-anything summer picnic white. Not too acidic. — 11 years ago
Wonderful bouquet, floral, nice acidity and a little white peach. Wonderful wine that should age decently but provides immediate gratification! — 11 years ago
Great nose. Secondary aromas are showing. Great wine. — 11 years ago

Very dry. Robust. — 13 years ago
Bright and fresh and moreish with a little bit of texture. Doesn’t have endless length, but the crisp finish and attractive nose make it good drinking. — 7 years ago
Still holding up very well. Not a knockout but laid back and elegant. — 9 years ago
Nice drinking wine! Beautiful bottle too — 10 years ago
Very fine fruit in nose. Exquisite raspberries and strawberries. Taste is still a bit withheld but mildly acidic and not the complexity I hoped for but promising for the future. — 11 years ago
Crisp sweet and tart. Everything a Riesling should be. Trevor would be proud. His pretzels are better than the ones here too. — 11 years ago

Tasting at the domaine, trying barrel samples, this was very interesting, peanuts, acid, long mouthfeel — 11 years ago
A Pinot noir from Burgundy. Nice raspberry/cranberry floral characteristics! — 12 years ago
