Not to dry or sweet. A perfect after work glass of bubbles to make the day disappear — 13 years ago
This was pretty good. Would definitely get again. — 8 years ago
Cheese rind Chablis funk. Has the wooly character I associate with the region. High acid - compared to most in this lineup. Lean and mean — 9 years ago
Great acidity! Some slate and hint of salinity as well. Delicious! — 9 years ago

2016. Really great wine. A bit young and will be great in 5+ years. Earthy woodsy nose, medium body, some dark fruit with mineral. Decant for at least 1 hour. — 8 years ago
We often read discussions of wines that deserve more respect than they are designated. Villages that drink like premier crus; premieres that aspire to be GC's. in this case, we have a "lowly" villages lieu-dit surrounded on 3 sides by great Gevrey GC climats. Such a sweet spot of intense savory fruit at a price point that blows your mind. Thoroughly impressed with the pedigree of this wine, and the visceral edginess that Gerard Raphet imparts here. Spicy, fresh acidity, vibrant mesmerizing tannin, ripe cherry, earthy to the core. Soooo Burgundian! Enjoyable now (with a brilliant succulent Mahi-mahi), but will be so much more incredible in the mid-2020's. — 9 years ago
Very enjoyable. Bought it at Costco. — 10 years ago
Strawberry, raspberry, tar, coffee and sour cherry. Smooth and light mouth feel. Great value I expect it to be in my collection of go-tos. — 11 years ago
2004. This is a great iteration of the esoteric Charmes-Chambertin. Tannins are yet unresolved and many years are left under this fine Burgundy! — 11 years ago
Citrus, vanilla. Fabulous with sea bass. — 11 years ago
Powerful and rich. Serious sap. Framed by good acidity on a mineral spine. And this was a mild leaker. — 12 years ago
Ripe red raspberry, cranberry and crushed violets. — 13 years ago
Tree Kilpatrick
Ruby color. Bit jammy on the nose. Flavors are rich and more of a Syrah type. Nice flavors. Seems older. — 8 years ago
