cranberry, slightly yeasty, beautiful fuchsia color 💘 — 8 years ago
Beautiful fuchsia color, sweet fresh raspberries, sufficient complexity. Nothing says celebration like pink bubbles. — 9 years ago
V. 2014. 50% Syrah, 21% Cinsault, 18% Grenache, 6% Counoise, and 5% Mourvèdre. Crown Princess Margaret rose petal aroma, mouth-watering acidity present in the mid-palate. Tart apple finish. Fuchsia color. — 10 years ago
I've kinda got a big crush on this grape. Dark fuchsia color and big red berry nose with all the indicators of a great wine. Bing Cherries and hints of green peppercorn whilst the tannins stick to your palate gracing the finish. Actually it somewhat reminds me of a fruit driven Russian Rive Pinot Noir in many ways. Innocent and pure all the way through. — 10 years ago
Deep black cherry with fuchsia highlights. Looks young, smells potent and delicious - such a seductive wine. Lots of well ripened red and black fruit, velvety plum and balanced oak finished. Big and bold, yet smooth. Lots of character, and looking for love; we enjoyed it with homemade butternut squash, toasted almond pizza. Marina and goat cheese converse with the tannins. The acidity lingering in the finish creates sapidity and the desire to have a second bottle on hand :) — 10 years ago
@Nopasf -I've had a 7 year love affair with these guys... Purely heterosexual I assure you. Tho I admit, the femininity of the Fuchsia -drawn by Nate's grandmother- is as evocative, simple and aesthetic as the the wines themselves This one however, this is their first Syrah in their 'own house'. It's fucking brilliant. And it's unlike the previous vintages, almost as much as it is alike. It's gaining its own frame of reference. Apocryphal in a sense now, but just you wait! This wine is reflective of the strokes of a painter; skill is notable early on, but upon review of multiple efforts one can determine the evolution of mastery. This Syrah is stunning. Some obnoxious notes as the wine has changed over the last 2 hours: upon opening a touch of dissolved CO2 is evident, opens to a nose of cranberries (not typical Syrah blueberry) cracked black peppercorn, leather, sage, glycerin, floral aromas of jasmine -is that not a touch of Fuchsia? Blood Orange/grapefruit citrus aromas. Sunburnt leather. No reduction -how is that possible? Rustic tannins on the mouth -jagged and edgy but clean as a whistle, not grippy, not fruity not typical California crap Syrah... cranberry like acidity and tartness. A metallic element to the taste, slightly coppery, but without that copper tang, more like quartz and granite ground to powder and hitting the tongue with saline minerals and wet stone. I must have more. And the floral tones... last for days. This shit is underpriced. — 12 years ago
This Rosado is a vibrant and deep salmon fuchsia. The nose is one of the most earthy I’ve ever experienced in a rosé, yielding an almost leathery soil-encrusted watermelon. The palate: yikes! Am I still drinking rosé or did someone slip a big red in my glass!? Earthen, dark red fruit is ushered in by firm, mouthwatering acidity and led out on a lengthy black raspberry finish. But it’s the earth that rules here. Not your grandmother’s rosé, and definitely not for the Real Housewives or Vanderpump set. No, this Angel shouts. Serve with hearty summer fare, maybe even in place of lighter reds. Drink now, of course, but save one for five years on. Just to see what it’s like. — 6 years ago
I wish I had a picture of it in a glass. Just gorgeous. Like a luminescent and translucent fuchsia. Tastes like Vitamin Water Revive fruit punch and fresh fig. Very approachable after decanting. — 7 years ago

Dark purple with rim variation moving toward fuchsia/white. High viscosity, medium+ alcohol, high staining- your mouth and teeth will be black. Nose sees nail polish remover, subtle ripe red fruit, oak. Palette is firey with the high alcohol, medium+ round tannins, dark, stewed cherries, strawberries. Medium finish with a good deal of body but moderate complexity. Lots of age left in this one- let it sit for a few more years. If you do open now, be sure to wait a few hours before drinking as it evens out over time, even better the second day. — 8 years ago
Deep garnet with fuchsia highlights. Earthy berry aroma. Medium-light mouthfeel, vibrant acidity, slightly earthy ripe red fruit, beautiful sapidity. Lingering, suede leather tannin, toasty oak finish. I think this vintage will really benefit from another year or two in the bottle, but it has plenty of structure to age well beyond 2018. — 9 years ago
Bright fuchsia, strawberry, very vibrant, nice acidity, purity, feminine, exciting, fresh, fragrant perfume. Pair with salmon cured meats, poultry, pork with berry sauce. — 9 years ago
electric fuchsia, stained, bitter orange, underripe boysen, lush and green, brown sugar — 10 years ago
Inky fuchsia color. Plums, black cherry, cinnamon on the nose. Med+ acid, med tannin. Cherries on mid palate and orange rind on finish. — 10 years ago
Not a big rose person but this one is pretty awesome — 11 years ago
2014 cherries & rocks . Juicy. Beautiful Fuchsia hue — 6 years ago
Beautifully structured and the most alluring shade of fuchsia. Notes of ripe strawberries and watermelons with hints of caramel. — 7 years ago
Marvelous fuchsia color. White pepper, red onion, red currant. Nice value. — 8 years ago
Very dark purple, almost black, medium+ viscosity on the eye. Moves to fuchsia toward rim, no sediment. Nose sees dark, stewed blackberries, cherries, and blue berries, vanilla/oak, some grass, green bell pepper, little bit of funk as well. Palette sees ripe cherries, a very healthy dose of dry tannins. I'd let this one sit a few more years- plenty of life left, but was pretty damn good after being open a few days in the fridge. — 8 years ago

Deep ruby hue with fuchsia rim. Medium tearing. Nose is complex with notes of stewed strawberry and rhubarb, cherry preserves, fresh mint, lemongrass, coriander, ginger, and delicate leather notes. Medium acidity, fresh raspberry and strawberry and crushed gravel notes on the palate. #chinon #cabernetfranc #touraine #lespenséesdepallus #bertrandsourdais #domainedepallus — 6 years ago
