An old favourite — 11 years ago
Delightfully fragrant perfume. Easy power on the palate. Fine silky tannins with a persistent finish. From the Coal River - highly credentialed wine making from Shaw and Smith. Tassie Pinot does not get much better than this. Up there with Freycinet IMO. 18. Tasted again 10th April 2016. Comments as previous with perhaps a more savoury and less aromatic wine but still first class. Tasted again on 17th February 2018 with consistent notes. — 11 years ago

This 2007 Louis upstaged its illustrious big brother to win the Trophy for Best Tasmanian Pinot Noir at the Tassie Wine Show in 2010. Stewed rhubarb notes. Good intensity and length. 18- — 11 years ago
