Very pleased with this riesling. Very light and smooth with a touch of sweetness. Definitely will buy this again! — 3 years ago
One of my favorite reistlings! Smooth and not too sweet, when I open a bottle I tend to drink the whole bottle! — 4 years ago
Sweet, crisp, fruity, clean — 6 years ago
Layered peachy flavors at the forefront, almost slightly syrupy with the high acid to balance it out — 6 years ago

Popped and poured on July 4th after enjoying the day’s frivolities; enjoyed over the following few days and consistent throughout. The 2011 pours a deep ruby/purple color with a near opaque core; medium+ viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of tart and ripe dark fruits: plums, brambles, cassis, espresso, mushrooms, leather, purple flowers, toe jam, earth and Christmas fruit cake. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannins and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose though the fruit comes across much fresher on the palate. The finish is medium+. The texture is soft and super silky. Despite 2011 being a challenging vintage from a Napa perspective, this was quite distinctive and complex, though maybe lacking a bit of stuffing. Stylistically however, this Kapcsándy is a refreshing take on a modern Napa Valley, Cabernet-based blend at a svelte 13.9% ABV. Bravo! Drink now through 2031. — 10 months ago

Not too sweet, nice slightly dry finish. — 5 years ago
Really good apricot and peach flavors. Very sweet but not too much. — 6 years ago
Smells of fruit grown in gravel.
Loud blueberries, cran Pom grape good, clean, smooth, mouthfeel and wonderfully light heft. A whole lot bouncing around in this wine. The acid oak balance is strikingly harmonious.
Lingering blue fruit skin. A good one to watch the latest GOT with.

Almost colorless. More of an apricot/honeysuckle flavor than than the 2019 or 2020 vintages. Delicious. Very smooth. — 3 years ago
Haven’t been into Chardonnay lately but this was great with Brie and pepper crackers: surprised me how good it was. — 3 years ago
Sourced from the Walla Walla Rocks District, this opens with Umami and nori tones that mingle with Mandarin orange rind, and guava puree tones that all dance in the glass. The palate is plush, showing off its silky texture. Layers of bright red fruits collide with minerals, charcuterie, citrus rind accents and stony undertones on the palate. Sinfully good in its youth, this beautiful wine will cellar well over the next decade. Drink 2020-2030- 94 — 4 years ago
Great bordeaux style wine. Medium balance with plenty of fruit forward - 2011 is drinking great — 6 years ago
Starting to soften just slightly and drinks well now with a short decant. Bright red fruits from the grenache, some darker and more savory elements from the mourvedre and just a touch of syrah which I can’t pick out on the palate but makes for a nice bouquet. — 6 years ago
