The 2015 Barolo Gramolere is powerful and dense in the glass, with a good bit of richness but also less of the tension that is such a signature for wines from this site in Monforte. Cedar, sweet tobacco, pine, mint, dried cherry, licorice and dried flowers develop with air, adding attractive layers of complexity. Overall, the 2015 looks like it will drink well relatively early. — 8 years ago

A must have in the wine cellar. Unique and tasty — 7 years ago
What a beautiful wine. Surprisingly approachable and soft for a young Nebbiolo, while still showing the structure and harmony these wines are famous for. For the money, a 10! — 8 years ago
Serralunga grapes (as does the 2012 vintage), deeper fruit on nose, more spice/smoke/dried meats, really nice. Well balanced. — 9 years ago

"Odedi"
Reddish in color.
Fruity nose and medium in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with red currants, fresh cherries, light oak, herbs, light earth, spices, chocolates and peppercorn.
Medium finish with fine grained tannins and cherries.
This 6 year old feels very young at the moment. Fruity with mild complexity. Soft and smooth. Elegant with good structure.
Needs time to open up properly, and will continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 7 years.
