Great cab franc from Uco, if you are into that style. Fruity (no oak whatsoever), but certainly not sweet or syrupy. Fairly acidic, and with a distinct mineral taste, like chalk or graphite. Lighter bodied than a cab sauvignon or a malbec (lighter colors, etc.) But still a powerful wine. — 6 years ago

2006 vintage. Medium ruby hue. Nose is off the charts - slight metallic, dark plum, roses and violets, sultana, coffee lift, licorice. With air, fennel and tangerine. On the palate, wow.
