2016. Excellent. — 6 years ago
Fascinating wine. So much going on. Super vinous, even cidery. Gold in the glass, a little oxidative, looong finish. Some subtle green flavors, a leafy wild herbal thing. Deep, tooth tingling acid, but mature, white balsamic-type acid. Yeasty but long-fermented sourdough type yeasty. Madeleines and lemon marmelade. Enjoy this with rich food, like roast game bird. Or Cheetos. We paired it with Cheetos. Deg sept 2019. — 6 years ago
$45 bottle; was much lighter than other CdP, more like a Pinot. — 7 years ago
джем из садовой вишни, с нотами лакрицы и розового перца, оттенки сухой пыльной земли. Много остаточного алкоголя, кислотность низкая; полнотелое, можно еще подождать — 10 years ago

Classic chambolle. Elegance is the word! Complex and clean nose with red currant, cherry, roses and primordial earthiness. On the palate, seductive elegance with a silky texture and feather like mouthfeel and outstanding linearity. It slowly peels away the complexity with layers of red fruits, roses and the classic limestone undertones. Borniques is biodynamically farmed with winemaking synched with lunar cycles on a small parcel of 1.4 ha situated right above the famous ‘Les Amoureuses’ with vines planted almost on the rock. It explains the very linear structure. The tannins, acidity and alcohol were in brilliant harmony with a finish where the dance continues for well over 2 mins. I loved this and it reminded me why Chambolle-Musigny is one of my absolute favorite villages in Burgundy. — 5 years ago
Burgundy done at a very high level — 7 years ago
So much richness and texture yet so drinkable. Phenolic and engaging. Subtleties abound, from white and orchard blossoms, citrus and stone fruits, beeswax, olive, radish, white pepper, tea leaves, stones. Approachable, elegant, yet cerebral enough to maintain conversation. — 8 years ago
Great chard! Minerality with fresh pear! Very well balanced. — 9 years ago
96 points? No way. Fine village wine with clean 2010 fruit. Great for its pedigree. Happy to drink it. — 11 years ago

2005. So freaking smooth. Great balance. Little dark fruit tartness toward back. Wish had a touch more young fruit on the front. But so good. — 5 years ago
A lot going on the nose. Red fruit, black fruit, meat, leather. Would be a good wintertime wine. Too bad they’re sold out at Kermit Lynch. Devin gave it 💯 — 6 years ago
D'abord des fruits puis la réglisse, équilibre... Plaisir ! Exceptionnel. — 7 years ago
Fuller than the Beaujolais I've had in the past but still smooth. After spicy pizza it was less flavorful than before but it's a nice wine. Chocolate on the nose and blueberry on the palate(?) Still some tartness. — 9 years ago
Old reliable. Always one of my favorite Rhones. Heavyish-medium body, heavy fruit, medium tannin, great food complement, mouthy. Even drinks well alone & is friendly enough not to overpower cheese or light hors d'oeuvre. — 11 years ago
