Williams Selyem

Eastside Road Neighbors Pinot Noir 2013

Barrel aged for 15 months (60% new and 40% 1 year old), sourced from four sites along Eastside Road: Foss, Calegari, Hunt Ryd, and Lone Oak Vineyards. Dark Ruby with black fruits and sweet spice. On the palate cherry, blackberry and ripe plum flavors with cinnamon spice and alluring soft tannins, still wrapped with nice structure. The finish lingers with a complex ending of cacao and earthy mineral tones. Nice! Tasting Sample! — 8 years ago

Prosecco

Great to pair with seafood. Shared this proseco with family over a bed of oysters. Refreshing, but not too sweet. — 9 years ago

Château Rayas

Réservé Pignan Châteauneuf-du-Pape Grenache 2005

A tremendous wine. Needs only a short decant and it was singing!

On a side note, ran it through our FOSS and here's the stats (take it with a pinch of salt).

G/F: 0.1 g/l (value not to be trusted, but trust that it isn't totally dry)
pH: 3.79
TA: 6.2 g/l
Alc: 16.7% (OMG! Doesn't seem that hot)
H2M: 0.0 g/l
VA: 0.47 g/l

@Aaron Tan I have been fortunate to have drunk this wine on more than one occasion and I am stunned by that alcohol number.

@Ira Schwartz Didn't feel that alcoholic when drunk. On the label it reads 14 %, so maybe the FOSS isn't too accurate this time round. It has been pretty spot on for us so far though, especially when it comes to alcohol (compared against an ebuilometer, was the same for base, table, and spirits).
