Gravel and lemon rind on the nose. Honey, green apple, green pear, mineral, lemon, and grapefruit on the palate. Slight citrus rind/seed astringency. A good bit of alcohol for a white. There's something kind of herbal/vegetal to it, but I can't put my finger on it. Good, medium-long finish. — 10 years ago

There's something undeniably awesome about taking face-ripping red wine grapes and turning them into rosé. Take the extra step and make it sparkling? Not even fair. This Spumante (fully sparkling) Aglianco still has a rich, full body and great texture but lighter and fresher than its still, red counterpart. No face-ripping tannins but lots of complexity. Brioche, strawberry shortcake, berries and cream!
