Wow! Sweet, complex, and clearly young at 9 years old. This is why we swoon for Riesling. On an evening where we taste a host of high powered reds along with cult faves Joly and Gravner, this was the wine of the night for me. First bottle on the table to be emptied. Nose: Fresh Almond. Hints of Golden apple. Cream. Floral. Slight petrol mineral. Palate: High acidity for condrieu, quite powerful flavor impact in mouth, extend FAR into the throat, but not as far as the Nicolas joly — 12 years ago

The wine Stein made for Noma. Native yeasts/no sulfur. Rich. Botrytis-y nose. Reminds me of Nicolas Joly wines Ive had in the past. Pretty wild. Wish I had more time with it. — 10 years ago
