Domaine Gayda

Flying Solo Grenache Syrah 2016

Where the name doesn’t apply this wine soars! Jazz, artisanal chocolate (Fijian ginger and kerikeri mandarin if you must know), and some friends wearing fantastic Pyjamas.... this wine fits right in. — 7 years ago

Château Cantemerle

Haut-Médoc Red Bordeaux Blend 2009

#KWN Wine 6. Unmistakable Bordeaux. Sweaty feet on nose. Road tar, pencil shaving, crushed rock. Blackberry fruit. Medium-bodied. Fantastic but has to be your thing. — 9 years ago

Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese 2010

So approachable from opening. Graceful and elegant. Smokey, with red raspberry and strawberry. Light on its feet but the feel and deliciousness carries all the way from start to finish. — 10 years ago

Collines Rhodaniennes Syrah 2013

This thing should come with a warning label. Deep, mysterious, SAVORY, dark. But light on its feet. After I crawled out from under the bed, it kinna made me laugh. Not many wines like this. — 10 years ago

Flying & Falling The Farrm Vineyard Cabernet Franc 2014

Well integrated Cabernet Franc. Dark plum and blackberry fruit flavors. Big hints of green pepper with notes of earth and slate. A bit of a medicinal flavor on the finish. Low acid and can be served chilled. One of their last Long Island vintages. — 7 years ago

I think I purchased this at HEB In Austin, Texas. It works perfectly as an accompaniment to a variety of meats, cheeses, and even Tex-Mex tacos.

Ok. Let this breathe for 45..... and it is beautiful. I can smell rose petals and cherry sauce emanating from the glass from 3 feet away! The tannins cut right through the ravioli. This reminds me of tannic Oregon Pinot Noir. Rose water mixed with saddle leather and wet earth. — 10 years ago
