Our favorite Spring day is when we get plant the yard. Especially, during Covid-19 lockdown. Never more enjoyable.
Flowers by Sofia. Garden is me.
A great weather day and worthwhile doing a cheers with of one of our favorite N/V Rosé Champagne’s.
With the lockdown, I am running dangerously low on Rosé Champange. I might have to Soda Stream some Rosé wine soon.
All my many, many notes still apply.
Cheers all and Happy Easter if you celebrate it. 🍾🥂🍷 🐣 🐰 — 5 years ago

Peach, white flowers, vanilla, long live Condrieu, king of viognier — 9 years ago
Great value Nebbiolo that punches above its weight. Infanticide? Maybe. Bright acid, youthful tannins, earthy, purple flowers. — 10 years ago
I understand it to be a unique blend of Syrah and Pinot. — 11 years ago
Very pretty. Smokey. A bit too much smoke perhaps. Great mineral and white flowers. Has some power under the hood. — 11 years ago
From the Domaine Leflaive Montrachet, Burgundy France 🇫🇷 is 100% Chardonnay and has a gorgeous golden hue. The nose hits you with oak, vanilla, butter, honey and some sweet tropical fruit of pineapple 🍍, green apple 🍏, honey 🍯, white flowers, lemon rind 🍋 and some mineral notes (like flint and limstone). The palate was very creamy with flavours of melon 🍈, lemon 🍋, lime, apple and hints of tropical fruit too. The finish was smooth and long giving it some delightful complexity. 🤩 — 4 years ago
Great way to start the pre Valentine dinner. Delicious Pinot -so smooth — 6 years ago
Drunk it at papas steak house. Very nice. — 7 years ago
04’ Joseph Phelps Insignia . Thought it would be close to a pop & pour...NO! Thick tannins that dissipate nicely after a 45 minute decant. Full - bodied.
Color- Dark purple
Nose- Flowers , lavender
Palate- Blackberry , espresso, light oak, nicely integrated acidity.
WOW... Seamless/smooth.
Drinking- now with another 5+? great years. Could possibly be many more. Drinking so nicely, why wait. — 8 years ago
Feels like fahn wyin, looks like dirt, smells like flowers, tastes like dried leaves. — 9 years ago
Showy! Black fruit and baking spices. Great texture and length. — 10 years ago
This 375 ML is drinking beautifully now. Offers up a bouquet of spring herbs and meadow flowers. Red fruit on the palate, but fruit isn't the primary characteristic. There's dusty earth, savory herbs, and fine tannins that are very much like green or black tea. Finishes with a lovely spice note, sweet tobacco and bay leaf. There is, too...lively acidity that will make this classic Bandol an excellent food wine. — 11 years ago
Richness and energy come together so well in the 2017 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru. Time in the glass brings out the wine's curves, but the 2017 is so young, especially when tasted next to some of the older wines in this mini-vertical. Lemon confit, marzipan and white flowers add that extra touch of inner perfume and sweetness that is so compelling in this vintage. The 2017 is such a promising Charlemagne. Always a solid CALIFORNIA chard. — 7 years ago
Fresh, lively and juicy with great acid, fine but present tannins and cherry, cranberry, sweet slice and purple flowers with a touch of earth. Yum!!! — 8 years ago
Creamy and mouth filling, pink flowers and strawberry on the nose, whipped cream, candied red apple, wet stone on the palate — 9 years ago
Very young but lovely fresh apricots, peaches and pineapple. Honeysuckle and white flowers. What really makes this wine amazing though is the body. It's big and round the whole way through where so many Sauternes fall either in the middle or finish. Lovely. — 9 years ago

Exotic. Dried tangerine peel, flowers and herbs, lemon zest and a tingle of spiced honey. Absolutely takes off with cuisine, had Sicilian shrimp and pasta with it. Really showed its depth and expansive qualities. — 2 years ago
