Always a solid choice. Never had a complaint. — 7 years ago
This wine is good if a bit disjointed. It has nice length and dimension, but the tart fruit comes in fits and starts, and the tannins are dusty on the finish. Very Burgundian. — 8 years ago

Adam Puchta is a wonderful wine! It is a semi-sweet Germanic wine, and it is created in Hermann, Missouri. We travel there often. — 10 years ago

My wife's wine of choice that she uses to compare all others against. We will be taking a trip to New Zealand just to check out this region. Lots if good wines coming from this area. — 10 years ago
Opening the bottle to breathe the subtle oakiness hits you with some spiciness and a hint of dark fruit. Tasting it made my mouth dance. It is smooth with very little tannins. Mind you, merlots are my last choice, however this one sat around long enough to be very good. — 7 years ago
Solid casual drinking choice — 7 years ago
So easy, so elegant. — 8 years ago
Can't remember if I made beurre blanc because I was opening this, or opened this because I made beurre blanc. Either was the correct choice. Rich n buttery n mature. — 9 years ago

With a little filet and some cheesy potatoes with ALL kinds of dairy in them. A delightful dinner pairing choice, but also good alone. — 10 years ago

This a fantastic bottle from a local vineyard. It has flavored of Chocolate but finishes like a nice light Pinot — 11 years ago

Color of deep purple, looks thick. Nose of cocoa, tobacco leaves, plum, and cherry. Taste of vanilla, medicinal note, raisins, bold tannins, some peppery or anise, subtle dried fruit note, warm and chewy. Aftertaste of tobacco leaves, tannin note, residual sweetness from raisin, and cocoa. Nicely done and a bargain. Everyday red choice. — 6 years ago
