FLAMINGO (dry rosé, 100% Grenache Noir)
Vintage 2012
Tasted 29/06/2016
Limited by 6300 bottles: elegant, stylish and slender pink (dry rosé) Flamingo. Fabulous allegory!
Colour of salmony rose, caressing eye.
Aromas of lily, jasmine, wild strawberry, wild cherry, creamy cranberry interlacing each other with light herbacious & grapefuit nuances.
Very well balanced (14% ABV!) palate with crispy acidity, light body and lovely minerality. Soft, bit oily, scented by barberry, red currant, ashberry, hawthorn.
Fresh finish with zesty ashberry bitterness.
Paired to halibut fillet baked with herbs, cheese and red caviar . — 9 years ago

Lovely rosé. — 9 years ago
Peppery, briny nose'd pop-top. Effervescent hot rubber plastic pink flamingo pool toy drying in the sun. Then red like blood, de-glazing cast iron with waves & wet sand. A dark standing pool by the dry-tongued Slovenian shore. Was washed away by it & tossed back, still feeling waterlogged a long while after. — 9 years ago
A beautiful flamingo-pink hue that is rarely produced or even attempted...this Tempranillo and Grenache blend also brings something to the Rosé game I've never tasted with this type of wine: Oak! This wine has been has been aged in Oak!!
It brings a beautiful balance, body and rich mouthfeel to the wine and sets the bar to a new height. Don Felipe has created a Rosé Masterpiece. Only 120 cases produced. — 10 years ago
A nice Rioja that is nice on the pallets with soft, almost buttery finish notes and a nice bouqet. Easy to drink and presents well with a good meal. Some folks think of flamingo dancers when they think of Spain - I only think of Rioja and the great grapes coming from an often overlooked region via a vis its famous neighbour to the north. — 10 years ago

Very pale in color. Albino flamingo. Floral nose and an early season strawberry across the tongue. — 9 years ago
