Delicious and balanced cab. Slightly berry but mostly just grapes doing what they do best, giving me a delicate pillow of a classy ass buzz. Pairs well with sailors and other fine folk. — 11 years ago
So much depth! Very reminiscent of Cote-Rotie. Co-ferment. Meaty, white flower, white pepper, fine tannins. M body, M+finish, M acid. Delicious. — 12 years ago

A very nice and pleasant brew, nice hops and spice, CO is on the map for sure, with many fine brews — 12 years ago
Domaine de Villaine is owned by none other than Aubert de Villaine, co-owner of that most illustrious estate, Domaine de la Romanee-Conti. The little house Villaine is located in Bouzeron, and offers fine quality for money for those looking for a good value. The 2011 is light on fruit, a notoriously difficult vintage, but it has some charm nevertheless with tart cherry notes, cranberry and rose hips on the palate. The acidity is quite high, and the wine begs for food. A nice cheese plate? Yes. — 10 years ago
Vegetal notes w wild strawberry and violet undertones on the nose. Balanced acidity w ripe red fruit on the palate. Fine, long aftertaste. Balance and freshness describes this wine.

A nose of Granny Smith Apple with a light brioche note. Medium fine bubbles that are very persistent and a light palate of apples, pears and a little strawberry with some minerality. Well made, but not something that delivers on the palate. — 12 years ago
