It’s a big fella. Fruit forward, rich wine. Enjoyable but not subtle! 🍷 — 7 years ago
Pizza night so this little fella makes sense! Last had it with @Brian Mogg :) — 9 years ago
The big fella...muscadet the right way. Always welcome at my house. — 10 years ago
this fella can make some vino. solid savoury salty with just the right amount dark cherry and spice. finish is luxuriantly long. More please! — 10 years ago
Delicious. Who knew? That Ed Sbragia fella is a pretty fair winemaker...bravo! — 12 years ago
It has been about 5 yrs since opening my first ‘11 vintage. It had been so long that I had even forgotten, but glad I had my notes in Delectable. So, I was pleasantly surprised at the acidity and tannic verve that lept out of the glass. At 7 yrs old, this fella is still young! The downside here is that it lacks the classic Pinot-profile. On the palate, dark fruit in a linear, narrow band provided good cleansing power but not a lot of romantic vibe. Drink remaining bottles thru 2023 — 7 years ago
Look no further fella, you found it. Beautiful aroma of grizzly long cut and cape cod cranberries. Medium bodied, light acidity, and softer than Lebron James in crunch time. Beautiful finish, a la licking your little league baseball mitt. Delectable. — 7 years ago
Whoa! Big fella. Held your own alongside two vintages of first growths. Power, structure and enough hidden finesse to last for a good hibernation in the cellar. One of my favorite winemakers who continues to make noise all over the valley. — 9 years ago
Dry with fantastic tannins and beautiful structure. It's even better after it hits the air for a little bit. This is a great find at Costco! Highly recommend for Napa Cab lovers. Pairing this tonight with steak. I'm one happy fella! — 10 years ago
After 45 minutes to open up, this French fella paired poppingly well with rewatching Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon in The Trip teamed with a late breaking baked Cheetos play #stayclassydelectable — 10 years ago
Broad nose with plenty stewed red berry fruit, kirsch, cheery bakewell, prune but also a savoury smokiness. Palate shows more elegance than the nose would suggest with an abundance of red fruits though alcohol pokes out a touch. Felt a touch sorry for this fella as it was drunk just after Lafite 95'.... — 11 years ago
Patience is a virtue with this fella. Let him breathe. — 12 years ago
This fella is striking a nice balance between varietal correctness and terroir. Still young - I will try another bottle in 2-3 years. Black fruits and energetic tannins harmonize for a tenor-powered performance. Solid work in the cellar to make a clean and age worthy beauty. I am confident because this glass got better on days 2 & 3!! — 7 years ago
I was NOT disappointed by this Gold medel winner. 6+ years from the harvest, this fella had integrated the four varietals very nicely. While still full of power, the palate had even and enjoyable flow. No one note sang too loud :) — 8 years ago
Leather, cigar leaf, rose water and Bing cherries. Old fella has actually hung in there very well.
Initial sweetness, stewed plums, Swisher Sweets, and almonds land the palate with soft fine tannins. Fades a bit over an hour in the decanter but showcased well. — 9 years ago
Lots going on. Years ahead of this fella still. — 9 years ago
Spice and pepper and POW! You can taste the smoke in this fella. Need BBQ. — 10 years ago

This fella has evolved into an ultra clean, linear burgundy (warmer) style. Wonderful lemon oil and floral note palate slow dance within the a beautifully balance of acid and mouthfeel. Super clean as a sipper, but with food the gentle oak treatment is revealed. One bottle remains - wish I had more — 7 years ago
