A bit of funk, ligh bodied, but more depth than just juice. A good freshness, and energetic. Lovely — 3 years ago

Ca 40.08 Nù Litr Orange Puglia Falanghina

Super duper crushable. This wine is the very definition of a summer wine. 100% Falanghina. The color of a sunset, this pours a slightly hazy copper salmon. On the nose it’s white flowers and stone fruit. On the palate, it’s ripened apricots, peach skin, rhubarb and bitters. Finish is lasting. Balanced. Works with simple meals. I truly hope Valentina has nothing to do with her Father’s (allegedly) shitty business practices. A truly compelling quaffer. — 4 years ago

Pet Garg Puglia Orange Falanghina 2018

Refreshingly dry zippy citrus balanced with body from the skin contact. Way too easy to drink. Just the way sparkling should be. Pairs tremendously well with cheese and salty crackers. — 4 years ago

Drank at socially distant sushi picnic with kathleen and Susanna. Juicy and mineral, light alcohol - would go with anything summery. All biodynamic! — 4 years ago

I want to try more from the producer. Great natural wine. Barnyard and salinity (almost ocean fish) on the nose. — 4 years ago

Heavy nose with prune/plum s bit of ETOH with spice. Taste leather tannins with prune plumgrest length and evolution. Tannins a bit rough but over taste is very good. Like now but better in 2+ years — 5 years ago

Finca Valentina Ribera del Duero Tempranillo 2013

Elegante. Especiado en nariz. En boca destaca sobre todo las especias que aporta la madera (24 meses en barrica). El 2013 es mas equilibrado todavía que el 2015. Acidez casi perfecta.

Lux Bombino 2018

Barnyard and wet suede, and astringent high notes, on the nose. Sour tropical peels, pith, and unsweetened lime on the palate. Different, and difficult by itself. But sings once paired with salt, brine, and fat. — 4 years ago
