The 2016 is out - and it doesn’t disappoint!!!Medium-bodied but mouth filling showing freshly picked cherries, leather and bacon fat. A memorable finish. One of my favorite wines, one of the most reliable. Huge QPR and one you should always have on hand. A little pricey for an everyday house wine, but it’s always worth it. On the downside it went up $1 and is now $21...... — 7 years ago
Really creamy and fruity — 8 years ago
After a day trying to keep up with a 7 year old biking along the Elk River my wife and I decided to stop at the Bridge Bistro and have a sandwich and adult beverage. This IPA"Fat Tug" from Drift Wood Brewery in Victoria, BC. Is in my humble opinion the "Gold Standard" for BC IPAs. 🇨🇦🍻 — 8 years ago
Slightly smokey - a real lovely surprise, goes down so smoothly and leaves a pleasant after taste - not sure why it is mentioned as being from France - wine of origin is Robertson South Africa and proudly so! — 9 years ago
2006, gamey nose, bacon fat, dried cherries and dried herbs. A bit gritty finish. — 10 years ago
2013. Superb. Was expecting infanticide and discovered a prodigy. Lighter side of Syrah, perfectly delineated after 1 hr decant. Feminine, lithe lens on allspice, lavender, bacon fat. Swathe of fine tannins. This will evolve for decades, so nicely structured, but worth trying now. As good as the pricier VV I tried last year. — 10 years ago
Man this was sexy, displaying so many aromatics, red & black fruits, violets, bacon fat, earthy, leather and spice box. Mouline has always been my favorite of the La La's — 10 years ago
Lot of bacon fat! — 11 years ago
Fruity, light bodied. Delicious. — 13 years ago
Very berry fruity. If you like berry fruity, then you will love it. However, $30 bottle. Worth it — 6 years ago
Light and delicious!

Fantastic 2013 cab that we enjoyed when we were getting away to Tahoe the first time with baby. Der war unser Hochzeitswein. — 8 years ago
Beautifully rich and complex wine. It is oaky, chocolate, and wonderful dried fruit. The longer it breathes the better it gets. I'd certainly get more. — 9 years ago
During July 2014 a good friend received a Coravin as a gift. Called me over and asked what 6 bottles did I think should be tested. The cynical SOB that I am had my eyes heading straight to this bottle. Needless to say I was surprised when this tested "good". Fast forward to today and I am happy to say my cynicism proved wrong again. A beautiful nose of ocean spray and shells with hints of spearmint like scents. More round than sharp with flavors of sea water and green apples that lingered very long. Got a little fat after 90 minutes. — 9 years ago

Very smooth, easy to drink, fruity notes, delish! — 7 years ago
Beyond. Just in an amazing place right now. Bacon fat, black olive, sage, oregano, fresh tobacco and black fruit. Balanced and linear, not really palate coating. Very clean and energetic. Lots of length. — 7 years ago
Very smooth. Not very rich, I don't get a very "buttery" sensation like other chardies. But would be great in the summertime. — 8 years ago
Pale yellow white in color. Floral, baby carrot, tropical fruit, and cream soda/orange soda notes in nose. Pineapple and lemon notes in mouth, slight veg (mustard greens?), some orange and tangerine on finish. Good neutral cleansing acid, dry, some moderate weight astringency on tongue in finish. A lot going on, suitable food wine but works fine for easy drinking before dinner as well — 8 years ago
