Loved this. Not that familiar with Chablis so difficult to define a reference point. Lovely oily texture with good acid and fruit. Great nose as well. — 8 years ago
#tannat bem rico no paladar - amadeirado e bem encorpado - e no cheiro - de frutas vermelhas, especialmente morango. Também tem notas de cacau e é um excelente custo-benefício. — 9 years ago

Tropical fruit aromas, with notes of jasmine and wet slate. Rich on the palate, with a silky texture and great balance between dryness and lush fruit, with tons of citrus, pineapple and floral qualities, and a very long, flinty finish. Que rico Albariño! — 9 years ago
A familiar and drinkable g/s/m with blackberry that lingers. Nice. — 10 years ago
Super funky. Very familiar but can't figure out this one. — 11 years ago
A wonderful tasting put on by Classic Wine Storage featuring Long Shadows Winery. If you aren’t familiar with these wines, they are phenomenal WA state wines that are made by the likes of Randy Dunn, Phillipe Melka, Michel Rolland, John DuVall, and more.
Supposedly this is the number one Riesling in WA state. Dry style. Petrol on the nose. Honey, apricot, bright acidity with a slate finish. — 7 years ago

Easy to drink, got a familiar Italian thing but with something else going on — 9 years ago
The palate is thick, weighty and creamy which is atypical for Albariño. And remember, this wine has already evolved some as it is the current release of 2010. Still one finds the fresh briny, citrusy, and minerality that so defines high quality Albariño; think apple, melon, lemon curd, ginger, hay, brioche, — 9 years ago
Beautiful. A prime example of a Napa Cab from the days before muscular ripeness ruled the day. Though teetering towards senility, this 29 year-old wine still delighted us with its youthful memories and joie de vivre, like an aging uncle whose familiar stories are just as enjoyable as the first time you heard them. — 10 years ago

Excellent! Medium body, nice fruit. Glad we took this recommendation at Zarzuela! — 8 years ago
Loved it! Had some Bordeaux-ish notes on the nose with a nice light body and still present fruit, drinking so well but can probably go another couple years! — 9 years ago
A gift from the Premier of South Australia. A brilliant blend of Shiraz and Cabernet from all the wine regions of Australia. It was supervised by Len Evans, Brian Croser, John Hanley and Ian McKenzie all great wine makers and wine judges in the mid 70's to this collaboration in 1999. — 9 years ago
Always love Musar because it has spunk. It's a Bordeaux with character and doesn't hold back. Medium bodied with leather, liquorice, charred raspberry... I've had mid 90's vintages I liked better, but 2007 had the familiar notes I liked so assume they will get better with patience. Tasted over two nights. — 9 years ago

Cool Cali juice. Familiar vs Shake Ridge Ranch couldn't be more different. Familiar more like a cru Beaujolais than what I associate with Mourvèdre. Shake Ridge brings me to Provence. — 10 years ago
I was not familiar w this producer but I'm going to be on the lookout now. Generous and focused at the same time. I love champagne! — 10 years ago
1991 Wynns Centenary Shiraz Cabernet Magnum #filthyoldvino Glad to see the shift to an elegant style with finesse & balanced oak compared with the Wynns '80's wines. Cork crumbled! #FUCork — 11 years ago

Dominant Sangiovese with some cab and a splash of Syrah. Rich style sangio wine. Sweet oak, dirty cherries, herbs, and a high percentage/bitter dark chocolate. — 7 years ago
