The label reads: "Jackson-Triggs Vidal Icewine- the rarest and most coveted of all dessert wines, and one of the most challenging to make." — 13 years ago
Loved this wine tasted at Basil’s wine tasting. $20 with a discount. Nice caramel flavor — 3 years ago
This is exactly what it’s supposed to be. Problem is that it’s not exactly what I want in wine. Dessert Wine: yes yes the syrupy aroma clearly lets you know what’s ahead. The fruit flavors are hidden behind the nectar but full flavored and fulfilling its purpose. — 4 years ago
Very nice dry cuvée! Crisp and refreshing! Pignetti’s. $16.99. From Spain — 6 years ago
Really unique medium bodied red with a very light smooth mid palette and quick clean finish. Very easy drinking as is. Very soft feathery tannins. Tons of ripe blueberry flavor. Dark purple color. Low alcohol for a red. Great summer wine. Great wine to enjoy if looking for something different. — 8 years ago
A great example of the Rioja style wines. It has a semi-floral nose, a deep, rich body, and the classic smooth and spicy finish we love about Tempranillo wine. — 9 years ago

Deep burnt orange in color with a lighter orange cream mousse and tiny bubbles. Wonderful nose of dried apricots and honeysuckle. This is echoed on the rich (of course) palate. Lowish (medium minus) acidity — it’s Vidal after all — offset by the tingle of the bubbles. Stone fruity moderate finish. Hard to dislike any icewine, even if it’s Vidal, and the bubbles add a surprising element of fun to this one. A nice celebratory dessert wine to drink with your birthday cake or New Year’s pudding. Will likely lose some bubbles after a decade, but should satisfy through 2039 and beyond. — 3 years ago
