Not much depth but great as an everyday drinker. — 10 years ago
Interesting wine. Super complex. Good — 11 years ago
Dark ruby and intense in color. Nose of cigar box and leather which developed and a matured cherry flavour boosted.
A multidimensional palate with good structure of tanins, long finish.

87% Malbec 13% Cab Sav blend - noticeable oak shows throughout - really pleasant complex wine — 8 years ago
A great example of the Rioja style wines. It has a semi-floral nose, a deep, rich body, and the classic smooth and spicy finish we love about Tempranillo wine. — 9 years ago

Juan Gil Jiménez first built his winery in 1916 in Jumilla, and passed it down to his future generations. From 100% Certified Organic Monastrell (or Mourvèdre in France), in chalky, stony soils, aromas of dark berry fruits and woody spice. Aged 12 months in French oak, palate shows blackberry and plum with smoky wood flavors and notes of cacao and cinnamon spice. Soft ripe tannins, medium+ ending with a light toasty earthy character. Great value! Very nice! — 9 months ago

No brainer. The fruit and the minerality are typical Priorat and that's not a bad thing. — 11 years ago
Notes of fig, brown sugar, black pepper, quite spicy — 13 years ago

Again not a correct bottle at the onset (Brett), but that largely blew off after an hour. So better than the previous two bottles. Still muted, dusty fruit. Underneath there is a well made wine but it never shined unfortunately — 8 months ago
