Excellent after just a few minutes open at room temp. No sticky sweetness, plenty of spices, no sharp or squeaky tannins. I would love to run this by some friends and see what they think. 😊 Enjoying this with/splashed over some home-cooked ground lamb. So glad I tried it once again. Sipping Fine Wine
From Trinchero Family Estates, a blend of 60% Cab Sauv and 40% Merlot, dark Ruby with bold dark fruit and floral spice aromas. On the palate, ripe fruits, blackberry and cherry with espresso, cinnamon and tar notes. Dusty tannins, some oak with earthy tones on a medium plus finish. Nice offering, but I think ‘12 was a bit better! The Merlot makes it good to drink now. Tasting Sample. — 6 years ago
