From Trinchero Family Estates, a blend of 60% Cab Sauv and 40% Merlot, dark Ruby with bold dark fruit and floral spice aromas. On the palate, ripe fruits, blackberry and cherry with espresso, cinnamon and tar notes. Dusty tannins, some oak with earthy tones on a medium plus finish. This is the Trinchero Chicken Ranch I remember! The '07 much better than the '08. Lovely nose, and extremely earthy tones with mild fruit on the palate. Very smooth and easy to drink as it is more refined and not overpowering. Quite enjoyable. — 9 years ago

Excellent after just a few minutes open at room temp. No sticky sweetness, plenty of spices, no sharp or squeaky tannins.
