Sunshine in a bottle. A near flawless harmony of floral and honey notes. Little minerality in evidence. Probably should not have opened this in November, but could not wait for next year. — 9 years ago
Steak & claret Friday is back. This bottle was more evidence for my theory that wine always shows best once it sells out. Dark fruit, savory tertiary character and plenty of sweet life in this "for steak only" northern Medoc. Hats off to the butchers at Draeger's... I don't know what that "cowboy" steak was, but it sure was good! — 9 years ago

For 12 vintage it's excellent. Calmed down pyrazines, little bit of vegetal green bell, elevated acidity. Nice lemon and melon flavors coming out on palate. Evidence of old used large oak.... — 10 years ago
Realized that I'm posting an empty bottle to my delectable profile at 9 am. I swear this is not how my day began. Evidence, however, is stacked against me. Drank the whole bottle while watching The Tudors in my snuggie and being like 'Noooooooo!' That being said, this wine is drinkable and fun, allowing for great gesticulating. — 10 years ago
100% Syrah, with about 10% new oak. Ripe, evidence of new oak. A polished style. Oaky, quite a Ribera style. Creamy, oaky, vanilla. Uber appealing now, but not a little my haul style — 10 years ago
Pinot Noir in great evidence here, wide and complex, long and elegant, millesimée 2009. Excellent! #ArmonieGolose — 12 years ago
This brown color should be the evidence to be matured for 10 years. @1200, Evax-LongDu, 161221 — 9 years ago
Vin biologique! Very refreshing and clean. — 9 years ago
Very fruit forward. Dark berries very subtle tannin finish with evidence of rocky terroir. Very nice. I like this! — 10 years ago
Integrating nicely. Cherry & strawberry fruit on the nose & palate, ripe fruit but not overdone. No evidence of bricking or age that would suggest a start of decline. — 10 years ago
Albarino fan, and this 2012 vintage smells and tastes terrific. Bright yellow in color (evidence of oak aging?) and aromatic for days, peaches and yellow pears and minerality bound out of the glass. The palate is dry, with a touch of sweet peach lingering behind the underripe grapefruit and... chalky? Limestone? I'll go with limestone. Perfect not just for summer, but just when you want a crisp white. — 10 years ago
Richly textured - predominant golden apple and ripe apricot aromas balanced by some lovely savory lees evidence — 10 years ago

Sim, mas esse estava bem conservado Eugenio. Prazeroso. This 1998 was one of our house wines for years, the '98 vintage got panned in the press so badly that many wineries couldn't sell the wines, and in this case they blew the excess wine out to their employees and growers, so we bought five or six cases at $15 a bottle. From a farming perspective 1998 was a horrific year, a cold rainy spring, hot August, and cool ripening period. The wines showed terribly on release, but have aged wonderfully, this is our last bottle. The aging capacity of this vintage is more evidence that the cooler years turn out to be the best in the long run. — 9 years ago
Powerful but balanced. Plums, cherries, tobacco, mineral high notes. Opens up nicely after being decanted. — 10 years ago
Excellent no frills Albariño. Juicy citrus notes, no gas evidence, maybe a hint of RS. Big hit at the table tonight. 14 euros. — 10 years ago
Deep color At opening some aroma of iron/blood Great dark ripe fruit without evidence of the years heat Perfect balance and long, long finish A wonderful wine At Millers Guild with Jake and Joie — 11 years ago

Really nice, clean, and balanced Chianti with sweet black and sour red cherries taking center stage. There's some evidence of oak on the finish, but it's offset by zippy acidity and complementing notes of spice and leather. I really like this. — 9 years ago
