Generous stone fruits and white flower, hints of botrytis. Similar to a classic Alsace Riesling. — 8 years ago
Petrol, orange rind, big fruit. Sugar acid balance is solid. Slightly tropical. — 9 years ago
Evergreen, grapefruit, gingerbread, green onion, cedar, band-aid, and a very clean, smoky peat bouquet! Ridiculously generous complexity on the palate, ranging from caramelized tea biscuit, to smoked, candied lemon peel, parsnip and gunpowder. Long, lingering finish. — 9 years ago
One of my favorite wines from my year in Florence and just as lovely as I remember it. Silky entrance gives way to bolder structure with notes of the evergreen forest around the Castello di Bossi estate. (2003 vintage) — 10 years ago
So smooth — 10 years ago
Slightly dry- delicious! — 10 years ago
Lovely, bramble berry fruit. Sage, evergreen. Decanting now... — 11 years ago
@ DIG Wine SF. Pergole Torte 2009—More jelloey though not at all off-putting. A bit of heat but not really a problem, strawberry glaze, balsamic, almost freeze-dried strawberry. Minty evergreen, wow. Indulgent and super delicious. Strawberry syrup. So concentrated and thick. Amazing how different the '08 and '09 are. — 11 years ago
The 2015 Magician is 100% Riesling from Evergreen Vineyard, located high on the cliffs high above the Columbia River in the middle of Washington State. On the nose; nice tropicals, green apple, pear, lemon, lime, a little white pepper and fresh yellow florals. On the palate, fresh, bright fruits of; green apple, lemon, lime, pineapple, green melon and guava. Spring florals, saline, chalky minerals, nice round acidity and beautiful, slightly oily, round finish. Photos of; their tasting bar, Trey Busch - Co-owner/Winemaker and old Jukebox in their tasting room. Producer/Owner notes...A Pearl Jam concert is one of the reasons Trey ended up in the Pacific NW after seeing them in his first concert ever in Atlanta. In 1992, Trey moved to the Pacific Northwest. He got a job at Nordstrom and worked there for 8 years. Trey was then offered the chance to get into the wine business with the Dunham Cellars. Eric Dunham, the winemaker and owner of Dunham Cellars help shape Trey for his career in winemaking. Trey got hooked on winemaking after his first crush at Dunham Cellars where he stayed until starting "Sleight of Hand Cellars" in 2007. — 8 years ago
This was a tuff year, with lots of rain and cool summer. Cassis, blackberries, with an intense dark Ruby color. Lots of minerals, clay, evergreen notes, smooth tannins. A little bit of vanilla on the finish. Great bottle for "Technical Year". — 8 years ago
Excellent and complex. Minerality and many different fruit overtones. Decently dry for Riesling. — 9 years ago
It's heavy but good. — 9 years ago
Cherries, roasted coffee, evergreen forest. Soft and supple mouthfeel. Opened up quite a lot over an hour. Enough acidity to pair well with pasta. Great QPR. — 9 years ago
Small batch 100 proof. Saved a sip to review. Evergreen (blue spruce) dough, caramel covered almonds, nutty as hell, baklava thing going with the pistachio and honey, maple and walnut coming in a close second. Banana bread, acorn squash, cinnamon and baked sugar, vanilla icing and a return to pine, in a crystalline sap way. Life is a box of bourbon candies. The palate starts hot, with a wooden paddle waiting for gluttonous candy fiends. Krampus whips your tongue with cinnamon oils and a cedar rush. Vanilla-oak spikes pierce your palate from all angles. Oatmeal, maple, raw wheat, brown sugar and sparks! Hot, holy moley! This one tells you to dance, and you durn well better! #knobcreek #caskstrength #bourbon — 9 years ago
This is a really nice Riesling from evergreen vineyard — 10 years ago
This wine is dense licorice and black cherry magic. Black currants too. With a thick woodsy profile and wet black muds running over evergreen. So cab-like in many ways, but reined in by the Winemaker's judicious use of oak.Somehow bright despite its depth, like a night on a still lake. — 11 years ago
Doing a vintage compare. Same wine...2013 now, 2012 tomorrow...
Fairly opaque crimson color. Wide clear alcohol rim. Evergreen nose with dark red fruit. Perfect body. Medium plus. A little white pepper mid palate, and ends with hot drying tannins.

Nice summer wine — 9 years ago
Celery, evergreen resin, fennel seed. Dense but mouthwatering. Quite full.

Some interesting evergreen or pine going on. Completely different wine from my last tasting a few years ago. — 9 years ago
Oh yes. Cassis, very ripe dark cherry, clove, allspice, sweet vanilla, evergreen — 9 years ago
Interesting evergreen notes in this solid Oregon Pinot. But it didn't blow me away. — 10 years ago
Sauvignon Blanc - Katie likes a lot — 10 years ago
Fantastic elegant wine with great fruit intensity, texture, and the evergreen elements I love so much in Oregon Pinot. Still a youngster, evolved gracefully over 3-4 days. — 11 years ago
Drinking beautifully, evergreen, roses, red fruit. Fresh — 11 years ago

Holy crap this is good. Beautiful garnet color with great clarity. Curious, woodsy/evergreen nose. Wild strawberries and a hint of orange/citrus on the palate. Poised and elegant with refreshing acid. Quite a surprise. — 8 years ago
