Peppercorn, loamy earth and limestone meet plum on the nose. More black cherry than red, with a strong mid palate that transitions effortlessly to an elevated, almost floral (purple flowers) finish. Tannins are well integrated at this point. Enjoyed following 3 hr decant. — 11 years ago

Something nice over the weekend. Duc de Belmont Côteaux Bourguignons 2014 by Jean Loron is a blend of Gamay and Pinot Noir. I love those grapes very much... Light medium body wine with red fruit character (redcurrant, raspberry), a bit of spice and a hint of mushrooms, round and smooth tannins and nice perfumed finish. — 9 years ago

Really flavorful, touch on the sweet side but it tastes like flowers and there's nothing that I don't like about it. Simple and good. No clue where I'll find it again. — 12 years ago
