My oldest Lato. This is Estrella and clone 877. Amazing Syrah and now you know why larner could be a grand cru vineyard. This wine got better the longer open developing complexity and levels I've not seen in young Lato wines. White pepper ripe black fruit with integrated tannins. This wine is 100% Syrah. More specifically, the "Estrella" (or "Star") clone of Syrah. The grapes were hand harvested and the wine was fermented with native yeast.
