Extremely well-balanced wine. Oak but not too much, acidity in just the right amount, fruit forward but not overwhelming, and depth of flavor but not too fussy. Overall an excellent Chardonnay that makes me like Ernest Vineyards as much for its Chardonnay as its fantastic Pinot Noirs. — 10 years ago

My favourite of their Champagnes. The high percentage Pinot noir gives this a fantastic fruitiness. Juicy strawberry and melon with a balanced brightness from the 15% Chardonnay. The light pink colour is from red grape juice not maceration. Lovely! Especially special sipping it at their tasting rooms on the Côte des Bars. — 9 years ago

2005 vintage. Herbal, minty, tan, leather, black fruit profile, cardoman and nutmeg. On the palate, great acidity, medium tannins - chunky. Good concentration and long finish. Chocolate and coffee notes coming through. Proper wine. Could be kept for another 10+ years. — 10 years ago
