Pretty unique expression of a grape that doesn't have many of those left. Some sherry-like nuttiness, underripe stone fruit and crab apple, round mouthfeel and finishes crisp. — 9 years ago

Som said they replaced the grapes in a region (Barolo) that makes a lot of money using the native to plant these, which says a lot about the winery. It’s delicious and smooth, would go with almost anything. Really love it. — 6 years ago
Has the full tannins and robust richness of Italians. Hangs with spicy Indian faire and rich tomato red sauces. Kinda a classy cool bottle/label design too. — 8 years ago
Quite supple for the vintage. Drinking now+ — 9 years ago

One of the best wines I’ve had in my life. Truly spectacular. All the things were there. Structure, balance, the fruits of Barolo, all of it. No sense in going over it. Memorable to say the least — 4 years ago
