Garnet red. Smokey, potent blackberry bouquet. Velvety mouthfeel, leathery tannins. Warm, round, blackberry and barbecued plums, gentle pepper. Lengthy, mouthwatering finish. Superb. Merry Christmas! — 7 years ago

Almost ashamed to say it but this wine really flipped a switch in me to really love wine! Dare I say it's my "epiphany wine?" I do so dare. I know no one else sees this it's my defacto journal anyhow. Plus, it's a good wine year after year and a great intro to quality wine — 11 years ago
Holy wow! This was unbelievable. There are amazing honeysuckle and honeyed white fruit aromas that are intoxicatingly. The concentration and layers of flavors are terrific. The palate explodes out of the glass while maintaining a medium body and enough acid to stay balanced with the RS (7%). This was somewhat of an epiphany wine for me and I can't believe i didn't take sweet wines more seriously before. — 7 years ago
Almost An Epiphany! — 8 years ago
Max'd out petrol and beeswax. This wine caused an epiphany that my latest expressions and interpretations of Japanese influenced cuisine tastes like umami lifted city smog and combined is a fucking remarkable experience. Reveling in edible militaristic industrial sense overloads. Pretty damn surprised here. This is a legit Riesling experience. Almost no fruit. Hell ya. — 9 years ago
Amazing, an epiphany in a glass. — 9 years ago
Deep ruby red. Smells potent with a little fruit and earth, hints of old leather. The taste presents light, yet ripe red fruit, balanced acidity, strong alcohol, a hint of pepper, and moist dark earth. Lightly toasted oak tannins and a hint of dull strawberries sustain the finish. Quite complex! Loved it with our slow-cooked leg of lamb.
