The 2014 Greenstone is the Maryland Governor's Cup winner for white blends. Named after the meta basaltic greenstone prevalent in hilly central Maryland, this is a non-traditional blend of Albariño and Sauvignon Blanc. High floral notes accompany mandarin orange peel, Meyer lemon zest, winter melon, and minerals. Refreshing acidity and a slight creaminess will help this pair with many salads and entrée. This wine is as interesting to drink as it is to smell and is a true winner. — 10 years ago
This was a great entrée into a tasting. It stimulates your salivary glands for what's to come! — 10 years ago
The Merlot is pleasant and round. Fruity without being too sugary. Wild strawberries are easy to drink when the vanilla is so soft. Great value. Très bon rapport qualité - prix pour une rondeur de fraise des bois sans trop de vanille. Excellente entrée de gamme de la part de la maître de chai du Château de Portets. — 10 years ago
Smooth and excellent! — 10 years ago
Balances fruity chard with a shadow of oak. It was a nice appetizer.. Savory. The entrée I suspect wld have gone better with a dry riesling — 11 years ago
A pale clear straw, the '13 Saint Clair Sauvignon Blanc, is another classic NZ-style SB. Big gooseberry and grapefruit aromas followed by tart citrus and pear flavors with some salty mineral notes. Velvety textured mouth with prolonged finish. Paired perfectly with our Creamy Parmesan Chicken Pasta entrée. — 11 years ago
Excellent Chardonnay. Very smooth. Excellent with crab entrée'. — 13 years ago
Entrée course wine for the Paul Lato wine dinner at Amaya. Not sure if this was decanted or opened early. Pretty tight on first taste as expected, but let it sit for for about 15 minutes while enjoying the Suerte. Surprised how quickly it opened, showing dark fruit, pepper and savory elements. Terrific with the Osso Bucco. — 9 years ago

Rich, fruit tones, dry finish, chocolate undertones. Would be great with a peppery entrée or chocolate. — 9 years ago
Excellent. Enjoyable with double chocolate cake and strawberries, but could have worked with the entrée as well.
Would buy this wine again. — 10 years ago
Really love this blend. It left a good taste in the mouth after sipping it for a few. Jeff chose this one for our entrée at the cliff house. Great dinner with mom and Jeff! — 10 years ago

Magnifique Châteauneuf qui commence timidement à s'ouvrir.
Accord parfait entre la puissance et l'élégance. Quelle profondeur et quel longueur en bouche.
Et ce n'est que son entrée de gamme... — 11 years ago
Floral notes without end. And I like it when you can use the wine for entrée and dessert. — 13 years ago
