2004 - still huge on the palate; deep fruit, leather, endless finish. Really enjoyed it with fresh-made pasta sauce. — 11 years ago

Tasted side by side with Five Shooter. Tremendous depth of flavor. Endless finish. Better and better 30 minutes later. — 13 years ago
My last bottle and truly an excellent wine. Depth and intensity on the nose with fatty vegetal notes, animal, earth and tea but with dabs of sweet stewed red fruit. Weight and a dense complexity to the palette this is at its peak. Intense and full with a near endless finish. Exceptional. — 11 years ago
this is how to drink bordeaux!
two magnums in perfect condition, showing libournais / pomerol on a peak.
right bank-ish merlot driven it entertains with juicy blackberry fruit, smoothest tannin structure and an endless finish, lasting minutes long of herbal liquor, cassis, coffee, sweet smoke, graphite and spices.
hands down the best way to start the week - even some "i really prefer white"-folks had a grin up to their ears! — 11 years ago
It is not every day that you get to drink your birth year. Especially when it was 40 years ago. It is just amazing standing fully mature but with what seems like an endless life. 1975 for ever!! — 11 years ago
Great! Easy to drink full bodied — 13 years ago
Classy. Ripeness but contained. Oak is both subdued and seemlessly integrated. On the nose is explosive fruit, freshness. No secondary aromas detected. On the palate, medium tannins, fine, with great balance. Acidity shines through. Goes on forever -- endless length. — 11 years ago
Unbelievably funky, acidic nose of Roquefort, feet, and rotting earth with a surprisingly fruity, slightly balsamic feeling over the tongue. Develops with endless complexity over hours in the glass. The cork I pulled came up stained and dirty, almost portending wine flaws, but this was a gorgeous bottle from start to finish for those who like Terroir and yeast-driven wines. — 11 years ago
2012 This is a rich and complex Cabernet that has an expansive and nearly endless finish. Blackberry, cassis, licorice and some earth notes. Dense. Impressive juice, should age very well. — 11 years ago
Honey-like golden color with endless micro bubbles. Sweet barley aromas with hints of honey. Full body beer, very creamy and very smooth flavor profile. Incredible harmonious and smooth passage. I could drink this beer by the gallon, it is so smooth and creamy. 91 pts. — 12 years ago
