Wow, this blew me away. I'm not usually a white wine drinker, but this could totally change me. THE wine for grains. This was amazing with brown rice and barley topped with curried butternut squash and apple bisque and roasted chickpeas in tandoori spices. And extremely drinkable on its own, too. This one could be a crowd pleaser, but unique with the Touriga National base. Not a lot of spiciness from the Syrah comes through but just a touch of the funk. A light dustiness too, but the overall feel is fresh. I really like this one a lot. I'd serve it at a party. — 8 years ago
