Great all purpose red. The more mencia I drink the more smitten I am with it. This smooth light bodied red slides effortlessly into any occasion. It's ruby glow, ripe red berry, supple cellulose tannin that barely hinted earthy-old world style, but the standout characteristic was its svelte acidity that almost unnoticeably complimented everything... food, conversation and laughter.
